Offering expertise in GSE rental, GSE fleet sale and rent-back, GSE repair and maintenance, ramp assistance and sale of pre-owned GSE. IT Application Solutions Architect

As an IT Applications Solution Architect at TCR, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, validating and optimizing innovative application solutions that align with our organizational goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders, fostering close collaboration and steering the implementation partners to ensure the robustness, scalability, and alignment with industry best practices of our IT applications landscape. Application Solution Design: - Lead the design and architecture of application solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and align with the overall IT strategy. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand application needs and translate them into effective and efficient solutions leveraging existing applications or defining the requirements for functionality to be implemented. - Conduct regular assessments and provide recommendations for optimizing the application landscape. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the application lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance. Standards and Procedures: - Establish and maintain architectural standards and procedures for application design, implementation, and quality assurance. - Regularly review and update standards to keep pace with technological advancements and industry trends in application development. Project Collaboration and Partner Steering: - Act as a key technical resource during application projects, providing expertise on application architecture, design and validation. - Collaborate closely with implementation partners, ensuring their work aligns with the organization's goals and standards. - Provide guidance and steering to implementation partners throughout the project lifecycle both on a configuration as well as custom development level. - Lead the evaluation and selection of technology solutions that best meet business requirements taking into account Build vs. Buy principles. - Facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure a smooth handover of projects to other teams or colleagues. 4. Roadmap Development and Maintenance: - Develop short- to mid-term application roadmaps aligned with business objectives and the overall enterprise architecture roadmap. - Regularly update and maintain roadmaps to reflect changes in technology and business priorities. 5. Documentation and Training: - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to application designs, standards, and procedures. - Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams and implementation partners on best practices and procedures. Qualifications: Has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus. Has strong proficiency in application architecture principles, design patterns, and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps). Has extensive experience in managing IT application portfolios. Has extensive experience with application development technologies and frameworks, such as Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, Angular, React, or Vue.js. Is familiar with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications. Has a proven experience of 5 years as a Application Solutions Architect or in a similar role. Has in-depth knowledge of application architectures, technologies, and best practices. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Is fluent in English, both oral and written (knowledge of Dutch or French is a strong asset) Personal Capabilities: Hands-On Mentality: Proven ability to get hands-on and deeply involved in the implementation of application solutions, demonstrating a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Problem-Solving Skills: Aptitude for solving complex problems with a methodical and detail-oriented approach.
